8th Edition Focuses on Lightening Safety & Coverage
Aegis staff has created The Protector newsletter for members of the Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation (County Mutual) and Community Insurance Corporation (CIC) which focuses on property loss control.
Our 8th Edition (Q3 2022) focuses on lightning safety, lightning coverage under property insurance, lightning mitigation approaches, and learn about the importance of Crawford County's coordination in emergency management response to severe weather.
"It is our ongoing goal with The Protector to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to property risk management in one dedicated resource, which encompasses risk control, insurance administration, and claims management," said Aegis Director of Underwriting Programs Paul Schwegel. "It is another tool we can use to work closely alongside our membership to provide robust property insurance services.

The newsletter is released on a quarterly basis and is geared toward the successful navigation of relevant exposures your organization faces on a daily basis. Additionally, we explain key insurance topics, utilize expert advice from our strategic partners and Wisconsin fire departments, and review major losses with the intent of mitigating and preventing future occurrences.
